Oprah is Continuing to be the Bane of my Existence

I've written about this before when she was selling weight loss pills. She has a new commercial about weight loss and it is done in the style of the Elon Musk Alzheimer's miracle cure.

Me bitching about this started weeks ago elsewhere. It seems to be some billionaire version of stupid tiktok teen challenges. They appear to ALL need a FREE miracle cure to hype for reasons I cannot fathom.

I got through some portion of her stupidly long commercial junking up my game and interfering with my mindless entertainment and stopped when she claimed her cure -- which appears to be baking soda and vinegar, the stuff middle school kids use to make science project volcanoes and you are supposed to DRINK that -- is based on something by or verified by Harvard and Yale.

I wonder if Harvard and Yale know she saying that and if they would be cool with this nonsense.

Anyway, per my first link above: Dramatic weight loss is almost ALWAYS accompanied by going to the bathroom a LOT. That's called a side effect and diarrhea is a common side effect of antibiotics.

You don't breathe out 125 pounds of fat molecules (that's a JOKE, I know they aren't molecules) in a few weeks. It has to come off SOMEHOW.

So anytime you hear her claim there's NO side effects, you KNOW that's a lie. Then you should wonder what else she's lying about.

This is my opinion about weight loss:

TLDR: Eat more nutrient dense foods, dummy. You probably KEEP stuffing your face with empty calories BECAUSE they are EMPTY calories.

Footnote
So I hit publish and the very next thing I see is baking soda and ICE instead of vinegar being hyped as a "bariatric" formula.

Sure. If you use so much baking soda that your stomach becomes alkaline instead of acid, you start throwing up and cannot digest food. That's potentially a means to lose weight, though probably not healthy and not without SIDE effects.
