Vectors Exist
Genevieve, whom I believe was a con artist, once told me something like because I'm SMART, I would have found another way to solve my health problems if it hadn't gone a particular way.
I don't know where to begin to try to say that's a big fat fucking NO from me.
What I do is science and science is about discovering what actually works. People who want to game the system are con artists focused on hacking holes in the legal system or gaps in the typical mental models of other people or broken social rules.
Edgar Cayce, a Christian psychic, did readings for pay I guess. I think he began having someone he trusted mediate and ask questions because when clients asked him questions along the lines of "What's the winning lottery numbers for tomorrow?" it left him with a terrible headache.
Con artists and others gaming the system are STEALING from other people. The easy button answer they want inevitably involves taking something away from someone else who worked hard at making it possible.
It's not free or easy. It's theft.
And it impoverishes everyone and harms sustainability of the economic system.
The current for-profit medical system in the US makes money by gaming the system. Most medicines causes short-term gains that physicians can claim credit for to justify charging big bucks and comes with a multi page hand out of long-term side effects they can wash their hands of and then blame your genetic disorder when their medicine is killing you.
I got better by trading short-term costs for long-term gains. Medicine today is causing a lot of chronic debilitating health issues by trading short term gains for long-term costs so you will PAY your doctor big bucks.
I don't know how to monetize what I do because I'm not willing to do that and that's HOW most things seem to work. I've written about that before.
My sister once dreamed that my therapy for my problems was like tearing down most of a house except one wall and rebuilding from scratch. She said something like I could have done less, but it would have gotten a different result.
Yes, but no.
See above: If my emotional problems were KILLING me -- and I believe they were -- doing less doesn't really fix it.
It's like you get to die slower but not really get well. And my genetic disorder is so deadly and debilitating, that's no life. And my emotional problems were similarly debilitating and related to my medical issues.
I became suicidal after being raped as a child. I stopped being suicidal because something improved medically. I believe being raped as a child was the medical root cause of my suicidal feelings or impetus. I've written about that previously.
But in addition to THAT, in my twenties I dreamed that a nuclear bomb went off and an iceberg prevented me from dying in the blast but left me with radiation poisoning. It was killing me slower and there was hope of fixing it, but it was a problem the world didn't really know how to fix. I needed to invent or find solutions.
I got married at nineteen to another nineteen year old because he said he wanted to join the Army. It was my ticket out of my hometown.
The Bible supposedly says something like the sins of the father are passed down unto the fifth and sixth generation. I think that's an attempt to describe family dynamics persisting.
In my twenties, I dreamed regularly about living with furniture from the past that didn't work and having too much baggage to move all at once and moving it in stages, a few feet at a time, and going back for more.
I don't think it's a GIVEN that family problems MUST persist multiple generations. I think it's an observation that they tend to.
Because most people aren't willing to do what I did of start tearing it down to the ground starting in their teens.
Most people trend towards doubling down on the BULLSHIT. In for a penny, in for a pound. And they actively compound their problems.
Past a certain point, it becomes unfixable.
