Prions are misfolded proteins. Like HIV, it will function similar to acquired CF.

If it causes hysterical laughter like kuru, it's a salt wasting condition similar to CF.

All instruments used on prion pts must be destroyed dead stop. They don't even get reprocessed/cleaned. Place in a bio bag and send them off.
